This is what Jesus would have done.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02936527748350587828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1643214750987392442.post-71904069726237833792012-01-28T07:00:26.152-08:002012-01-28T07:00:26.152-08:00Indeed, in this story God is not interesting in cr...Indeed, in this story God is not interesting in creating a level playing field. The fact is, however, no God is responsible for Tebow's success. By using religious language to explain one's success always create a dilemma for the deity of that religious system. Why Tebow and not Joe? What make him so special that he deserve God's special favor and not others. It normally makes God look like an incompetent deity.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02936527748350587828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1643214750987392442.post-5431870400309120442012-01-28T02:56:15.868-08:002012-01-28T02:56:15.868-08:00Another over-paid "nut job".

Thats it.
As you said, there are many such nut jobs in sports, this guy may or may not be a little better, but still, the controversy over religion is a good way to promote a story and thats what they did. By combining religious controversy and sports, they can sell more news papers.
I think he should take all his money and give it to the poor, If he is a true believer, that's what Jesus would have done ;-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08108958334278103193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1643214750987392442.post-27254183051023828852012-01-27T12:27:31.146-08:002012-01-27T12:27:31.146-08:00I agree with you wholeheartedly Seon.Stories that ...I agree with you wholeheartedly Seon.Stories that show what God has done specially for one person only emphasise the fact that others have not received the same benefits. This shows that God is not interested in making a level paying field for all hs creatures, for he ignores the daily needs of millions. Hard to see why he should then be worthy of our worship.caribatheisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00141510965594558342noreply@blogger.com
